14. Martel

Eleven years after his departure, Eric Martel returned to Barça in 2024 as one of the top futsal players in the nation. The left winger played in all the youth teams at Barça before making his first team debut in 2011.

Martel left the club in 2013 to join Industrias Santa Coloma where he stayed for two seasons. A year at Peñiscola was followed by four seasons with Xota, three with Inter and another at Valdepeñas before returning home to Barça for 2024/25.

As a blaugrana, Martel won a Champions League, two league titles, two Copas del Rey and two Spanish Cups with Barça. At Inter, Martel also claimed three trophies in two seasons; a Spanish Cup, a Copa del Rey and a Super Cup. 

In his second spell as a blaugrana Martel has had much more playing time and much more of an influence on the team. Under coach Tino Pérez in 2024/25 he became a valuable member of the squad, contributing goals and hard work in defensive tasks.
