Lionel Messi is continuing the recovery process on his right calf at the Ciutat Esportiva, after suffering an injury in his first day back at training on Monday. For that reason, he has not travelled on the US Tour.

On the day that he has been nominated one of the best strikers of the 2018/19 Champions League, this Thursday brought his third recovery workout in the gym.

In the meantime, the rest of the squad has been continuing their US Tour. After beating Napoli 2-1 at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, they have now headed north to Detroit, where they’ll be taking on the Italians once again.
