21. Clyburn

William Dalen Clyburn, known in the sporting world as Will Clyburn (17/05/1990), was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He developed as a player in his home country before making the leap to Europe in 2013. In the US, he played for Marshalltown Community College and for the Universities of Utah and Iowa State between 2008 and 2013.

Since then, he has spent his entire professional career in Europe. He spent his first two seasons with German side Ulm, before signing for Hapoel Holon in Israel, where he stood out as the top scorer of the regular season, averaging 20.9 points per game. From Israel, he moved to Turkey to join Darussafaka, where he made his EuroLeague debut. He has played in the competition continuously since the 2016/17 season, up until his arrival in Barcelona.

An outstanding season earned him a move to the top tier of European basketball with CSKA Moscow, where he spent five seasons (2017–2022). During his time in Russia, he won three league titles and lifted the EuroLeague trophy in 2019, being named Final Four MVP.

After five brilliant years with CSKA, he returned to Turkish basketball with Anadolu Efes, where he played two seasons and won a league title, before adding another country to his list. Clyburn signed with Virtus Bologna, where he also won the Italian League, before joining FC Barcelona in the summer of 2025.

He arrives with a long and distinguished career at the highest level, having played nine EuroLeague seasons, racking up 243 appearances with averages of 13.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and a performance index rating of 15 over 28 minutes per game in Europe’s top competition.

He is a 2.01-metre-tall forward, physically imposing, who can also play at the ‘4’ spot to showcase his strong 3-point shooting, and is capable of creating scoring opportunities from close too. An all-rounder with vast experience, he is a key figure in the decisive moments of games and competitions.
