23. Shengelia

In the summer of 2025, Tornike Shengelia joined Barça from Virtus Bologna, where he had played for the previous two seasons.

The Georgian power forward arrived at the Palau as an experienced player with a strong work ethic, who has stood out in every team he has played for thanks to his commitment, selflessness, and quality. He is also familiar with the Spanish basketball environment, having developed in the youth ranks of Valencia Basket.

Shengelia's career has been long and varied, although whenever he has found stability, he has stayed for several seasons. This was the case with Baskonia, where he played from 2014 to 2020, leaving a lasting mark. His most notable trophy with the Basque club was the league title won in Valencia against Barça during the pandemic.

‘Toko’ has also played for other teams, such as Spirou Charleroi (2010–12), the Brooklyn Nets (2012–14), the Chicago Bulls (2014) and CSKA Moscow (2020–22). His list of honours includes the VTB League with CSKA Moscow (2020/21), EuroCups with Virtus (2022) and Valencia (2010), and the 2020 ACB League title with Baskonia.
