On 25 July, Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California will be the backdrop for the second match of FC Barcelona's American tour when the Catalans take on Manchester United. The 68,500-capacity stadium is currently the home field of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers and is set to host Super Bowl 50 on 7 February 2016.

Still sparkling

Levi's Stadium, which opened its doors in August 2014, is also the permanent host of the NCAA College Football's Pac-12 Final and the San Francisco Bowl. It will also be the site of one annual MLS match featuring the San Jose Earthquakes, a close resident. There has only been one football (soccer) match played at Levi's stadium. It was a friendly played on 6 September 2014 between Chile and Mexico and which ended in a scoreless draw.
