Another day at the Ciutat Esportiva

Work under Xavi Hernández continued on Thursday with his third training session since joining the club, again without the presence of the international stars. Pitch 4 at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper was the venue for a workout involving just six regular members of the senior squad, with the numbers boosted by U19 team defenders Diego Almeida and Arnau Solà, midfielders Aleix Garrido, Txus Alba and Marc Casadó and forwards Juan David Fuentes and Estanis Pedrola. Gerard Piqué, Pedri and Sergi Roberto were also present as they continue their respective recovery programmes.
