FC Barcelona signed Jaime Gallego in the summer of 2023 from Bathco BM. The promising 20-year-old made his full international debut for Spain when he was just 20.
He sat out the whole 2022/23 season with a knee injury, but in 21/22 was the key player at Torrelavega, playing 30 games and scoring 71 goals in the Liga Asobal. He was at the Cantabrian side for three years after joining when he was 18. Gallego was previously at Balonmano Zamora and BM SAFA.
Young centre known for his physical exuberance and ability to perform on either side of the court. Powerful in defence and also a strong contributor to the attack.
