16. Sergio González

Sergio González Pérez (30 June 1996, Montcada i Reixac) began his futsal career with FS Montcada before continuing his youth development at Barça and Les Corts UBAE. He also won the Second Division title with Barça B before moving on Ribera Navarra for three seasons. 

After joining Valdepeñas he established himself as one of the best players in the league, leading the the team a runners-up spot in the Copa del Rey and semi-finalists in the league. In the summer of 2022 he signed for Barça and won the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey in his first season. The following campaign he established himself as a regular in coach Jesús Velasco's team until he suffered an unfortunate serious knee injury. Recovered for the 2024/25 season Sergio returned to his best form to help the team all over the court. 

González is also an experienced Spain international.
