10. Ebrima Tunkara

Born o10 March 2010 in Lamoi, Gambia, Ebrima Tunkara moved to Catalonia at the age of seven when his family settled in Mataró. He began playing football at Cerdanyola, and it did not take long for him to attract the attention of FC Barcelona, who brought him into their youth setup during the 2018/19 season.

His early years at La Masia were not easy. Adjusting to a new environment, adapting to a different style of training and playing, and overcoming language barriers made his development a gradual process. Over time, however, Tunkara settled into the dressing room and began to showcase his outstanding qualities: impressive physical power, ability on the ball, and a talent for beating opponents.

Primarily developed as an attacking midfielder, he has also featured in wider attacking positions. His rapid progress led to his Barça Atlètic debut in February 2026, when he was just 15 years old, and in March of the same year he made his first start for the team. In 2026, he signed a new contract with FC Barcelona until 2029.

During the 2026/27 pre-season, Tunkara became part of the first-team setup and took part in several friendly matches.
