A playmaker in midfield, he has grown up with the Barça model and is a leader on the field

Born on 22 May 2007 in Santiago el Mayor, Murcia, Dani Ávila joined the Club in 2018 as an U12 from CFS Progreso. He completed his development in seven-a-side football before making the transition to the full-sized game, where he stood out as a leader on the pitch.

He belongs to the highly talented 2007 generation, growing up alongside players such as Pau Cubarsí, Marc Bernal, Lamine Yamal, and many others. Throughout those years, Dani Ávila distinguished himself as a midfielder who organised the team from the midfield, directing play around him.

Although injuries prevented him from fully showcasing his potential, he made the step up to Barça Atlètic for the 2026/27 season. Prior to that, he completed his youth career having made a total of 12 appearances, including eight league matches, two UEFA Youth League games, and two Copa del Rey fixtures.
