More post-game Barça reaction:

Luis Enrique

“Today was a chance for players who figure less. The game started well for us and we were in control but a mistake in the second half let Osasuna into the game.”

“We maintained our intensity and rhythm and we fixed things quickly.”

“We have to be aware of the need to pick up points.”

“From the month of May we will have time to recover and there are lots of positives today.”

“The fans behind the goal were chanting for Mascherano to take it. I am happy for him – he is a key player for the Club and he has shown that down the years.”

Paco Alcácer

“In the second half a free kick made it 2-1 but we came back well and in the end it turned out fine.”

“What Leo brings to the team and to the fans is enormous, it’s everything. It’s great fun to watch him play and to play with him is something only a few have the luck to be able to do.”

“Every striker is reassured, made more comfortable and secure by goals, but it is thanks to the work of the whole team.”

“The penalty turned out well, it was supposed to be Rakitic to take but then they realised that it would be a great chance for Mascherano to open his account and that’s what he did.”

Carles Aleñá

“Today was a special day for me. I have come back into the first and furthermore I came on to replace Leo Messi, a dream come true and I will never forget it.”

“When you train with the first team and you see the intensity that they train with, you learn a lot. For it’s all positives, there are no negatives. I am a member of the Barça B squad but whenever Luis Enrique needs me, I am here.”

Ivan Rakitic

“I am happy for Masche; the whole stadium wanted him to be score and let’s hope he gets more.”
